For the thousands of students we’ve surprised with holiday cheer, it may very well be when the Daisie Foundation came to their school with hundreds of exciting presents and cozy winter accessories.
Each December, we partner with an often overlooked schools within an underserved community to provide a holiday party their Pre-K through 8th Grade students have never before experienced.
Gifts of toys, books, games, and holiday treats are delivered with the help of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, while faculty and staff are invited to enjoy a special luncheon complete with their own holiday gifts – all through the help of our generous volunteers, sponsors, and Daisie partners. In the past, we’ve served communities throughout Chicagoland, Milwaukee, and Houston – but we’re just getting started. Join us this year as we quadruple our previous efforts by serving even more schools. Because, for some, the best memories start with Daisie.THE INITIATIVE
- Our Goal: Focusing on grades Pre-K through 8th, we provide a full day of holiday cheer as students receive gifts of exciting toys and much needed winter accessories
- Over the years, we’ve impacted the lives of thousands of students through our collaborations with the various community elementary schools.
- We also surprise faculty and staff with a holiday luncheon each year to show our gratitude for their hard work and commitment to not only education, but also to the often overlooked and challenging communities which they have chosen to serve
