Scholarship for Careers in Beauty

Honoring Nikki Hall’s Name and Legacy

In March of 2021, Daisie Foundation Board Member Nikki Hall transitioned home. Nikki was a mother, friend, sister, confidant, mentor, and so much more. Her impact on the lives of our Board Sisters was meaningful, but her impact on the lives of the women and children our foundation has the honor of blessing, was immeasurable.

In her time with Daisie, Nikki played an instrumental role in uplifting 2000 women and 5400 children. As a Regional Sales Manager at Benefit Cosmetics, a proud partner of the Daisie Foundation, she dedicated her vibrant career to beauty, a truth most evident through her actions. Nikki was a shining light that brought hope and beauty to all who were blessed to know her.

In honor of Nikki’s name and legacy, the Daisie Foundation is proud to offer the Nikki Hall Scholarship for Careers in Beauty, blessing women with a passion for beauty and cosmetology with funds for schooling and continued education.

Scholarship for Careers in Nursing

Becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or any other kind of medical assistant for that matter, is a demanding task, with intense and fast-paced workloads. Often, CNAs are employed by nursing homes, hospitals, assistant living facilities, and home healthcare programs. There they are responsible for serving as liason between patient and nurse or doctor, while monitoring vitals, feeding patients, and ensuring a comfortable quality of life.
Candidates for these careers need physical stamina, compassion, patience, and strong communication skills to succeed. And with state-approved education programs and various exams required for certification, candidates also need the financial means to complete their training.

Our unique scholarship program will help these women achieve their goals by covering either a portion or the full amount of their tuition.

This is yet another way of giving back to our communities, as the need for CNAs grows across the country. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in this field is expected to grow by 11% from 2016-2026, which is faster than average. We want to ensure that women who desire these difficult jobs, fueled by their intense desire to help others along with ample compassion for their fellow human beings, are able to complete their training and join the workforce that most needs them.
To support our efforts, consider donating or becoming a Daisie Partner. Together, we can not only help patients get the support they need during the healing process, but also assist talented students in pursuing their dream of serving others.
