Holiday Magic Outreach
Milwaukee, WI
EVENT RECAP
This holiday season, The Daisie Foundation partnered with National Latino Law Enforcement Organization (NELLO) to surprise more than 500 students and 100 teachers and staffers at Allen-Field Elementary School in Milwaukee. The event was hosted by Diana Gutierrez, WISN-ABC Anchor, and Elizabeth Kay, radio host of 99.1 Milwaukee. Students at Allen-Field received a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who brought along their helper elves to pass out gifts to the kids, as well as lunch from Panera, and a holiday-themed dance party! Chief of police Jeffrey Norman and The Milwaukee Brewers Racing Sausages surprised the students and staffers as well.
United in partnership, we were able to surprise Milwaukee students with a holiday extravaganza that spread holiday joy and brightened more futures. Here’s what Principal Fritz Blandón of Allen-Field Elementary School had to say about the event:
“In all of my years in education, I have never been a part of such an incredible experience. This event brought overwhelming joy onto the faces of each child.”
The Daisie Foundation would like to thank our generous sponsors who helped make this event possible, including Meijer, Milwaukee Brewers, Panera, Molina Healthcare, Wantable, Lifeway Foods, Shiraleah, Penske, Towne Bank, Milwaukee Police Association, Benefit Cosmetics, Ambrosia Event Decorating, Daisie Project, and 99.1 Radio Station.
