This past Mother’s Day, as part of the Foundation’s Random Acts of Kindness Initiative, DF is partnered with Raising Canes on Friday, May 10th, 2024 to honor and surprise 300 deserving healthcare responder mothers of Harris Health Gulfgate Health Center, Harris Health Strawberry Health Center, as well as mothers of Santa Maria Hostel.

Surprising our staff with tokens of appreciation and love, especially as Mother’s Day approaches, adds an extra layer of joy to their hard work. The Daisie Foundation has been a steadfast and generous supporter of Harris Health over the years, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support.”

Daisie Foundation is proud to celebrate those who put others’ needs before their own. In addition to Raising Canes providing lunch for the moms, the incredible moms received special gifts from Benefit Cosmetics, Kroger, AbbVie, Shiraleah, and Reliant just in time for Mother’s Day. The surprises took place at three different locations, including Harris Health Gulfgate Health Center, Harris Health Strawberry Health Center, and Santa Maria Hostel.

In addition to Houston, DF surprised mothers throughout Milwaukee and Chicago this week, for a total of 1000 mothers.
