Kimpton Cares Chicago

2019 Partnership with Daisie Foundation
Focused on Empowering Women and Children

Kimpton Cares Chicago, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurant’s philanthropic volunteer organization, has selected Daisie Foundation as one of its four preferred charities for 2019. To kick off the collaboration, the four Kimpton Chicago Hotels—Hotel Allegro, Monaco Chicago, Palomar Chicago and The Gray—are excited to introduce various events and initiatives to take place during 2019 in keeping with Kimpton’s commitment to social responsibility.

EMPOWERING WOMEN IN CHICAGO

The Kimpton Gray will proudly host Daisie Foundation’s Leading Ladies Panel Series, an ongoing series that invites distinguished women across diverse disciplines to lead discussions and answer questions about women’s leadership, giving back and more. The panels will take place at Boleo, The Kimpton Gray’s rooftop bar and lounge, on Tuesday, June 4 and Tuesday, September 17 and will include speakers from Kimpton’s own leadership team.

Holiday Outreach

In November, Boleo at The Gray will host the foundation’s annual Taste of the Holidays Event as well as its holiday outreach wrapping party that brings together more than 2,000 students from four Chicago elementary schools for a festive winter celebration.

BACKPACK DRIVE

In partnership with the Daisie Foundation, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurant’s philanthropic volunteer organization called Kimpton Cares is kicking off a backpack drive that will benefit Perkins Bass Elementary School in Chicago. The drive to collect nearly 500 backpacks filled with school supplies and more will conclude in time for the start of the new school year.

Currently ALL Kimpton Chicago properties are offering a package benefitting the Daisie Foundation.
