As a preventative measure to help control the transmission of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Daisie Foundation will postpone our annual Leading Fashion Runway event.

This event will be rescheduled at a later time.

We at the Daisie Foundation want to ensure the safety of our team, executive board, the Essie Ambassador’s board, our partners, ambassadors, volunteers, and all the mothers and leading women we impact. We encourage everyone to follow the most up-to-date public health recommendations from the CDC, and the foundation sends our best wishes to the entire Daisie extended family in this challenging moment.

At Daisie Foundation, we truly believe in the power of fashion and self-expression to transform and inspire those around us. That’s why we’re proud to host our annual Leading Fashion Runway Show.

Each year, we invite leaders and entrepreneurs in business, media, pharmaceuticals, medicine, and more to be our “models” for the evening. These highly respected members of our community wear the latest fashions and walk the runway–all to inspire attendees to make a difference in the lives of amazing children in Chicago.

The Leading Fashion Runway Show is our annual giving event for our Holiday Outreach Initiative. During the winter holidays, we bring a burst of holiday cheer by surprising children with gifts of toys, books, games, and other holiday treats. We’ve set an ambitious goal to double our efforts each year and to serve more children, teachers and staff at local schools.

Highly respected members of the Chicago business community model the latest fashions to inspire attendees to make a difference in the lives of Chicago’s most deserving children
Our event sponsor, the Kimpton Gray Hotel, has generously agreed to host and sponsor our Fashion Show
WCIU Host Diana Gutierrez and ABC Reporter Jesse Kirsch will emcee the event
