Holiday Magic Outreach

Houston, TX

The Daisie Foundation, in collaboration with the Houston Police Department-GHPAL and the National Latino Law Enforcement Organization, organized Holiday Magic Experiences that pleasantly surprised 2200 students and 315 teachers and staffers in Houston, Chicago, and Milwaukee, just in time for the holidays. The events included gift-giving for students, teachers, and staff, featuring Santa, Mrs. Claus, Santa’s elves, and helpers, along with special guests such as Governor of Illinois JB Pritzker, Illinois Lieutenant Governor Julianna Stratton, CEO of Chicago Public Schools, Grammy-Nominated Artist Paul Wall, Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Chief of Houston Police Department Troy Finner, Chief of Milwaukee Police Jeffrey Norman, Superintendent of Milwaukee Public Schools Keith Mosley, and Actor Cortez Smith from The Chi on Showtime.
