Leading Fashion Runway Show

October in Chicago
KIMPTON GRAY HOTEL

2019 Initiative

The Daisie Foundation presented some of Chicago’s finest ladies and gentlemen on October 6th, 2019, for our annual Leading Fashion Runway Show. Our local celebrities, entrepreneurs, and leading business men and women modeled for a cause, supporting the efforts of the Daisie Foundation to bring holiday programming and gifts for local students in need in Chicago.

The event was sponsored by the Kimpton Gray Hotel, and hosted and emceed by WCIU Host Diana Gutierrez and ABC 7 Chicago Reporter Jesse Kirsch. Supporting a wonderful cause, Chicago influencers such as Chicago Bears Player Johnny Knox, Univision’s David Palomino, NBC and Telemundo reporter Sandra Torres, WCIU’s Brandon Pope, and TV personality Lauren Scott, walked in the latest styles from the Tie Bar, Banana Republic, and many others. All proceeds benefited the 2019 Holiday Outreach Initiative, an event where the foundation and host of Daisie sponsors, partners, and ambassadors surprised 2000 pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students, and over 300 teachers and staff, from Humboldt Park’s Stowe Elementary School, Austin’s Ella Flagg Elementary School, and Englewood’s Nicholson STEM Academy with gifts of toys, books, games, and other holiday treats.
