Mother’s Day Events in Milwaukee

This Mother’s Day, the Daisie Foundation surprised more than 200 first-responder moms across the Milwaukee area with a day of flowers, food, and appreciation. The celebrations began at Progressive Community Health Center, where we surprised moms on staff with lunch from beloved Milwaukee staple Ian’s Pizza. Attendees were also treated to beautiful Mother’s Day gifts from Shiraleah, flowers from Meijer, and tickets to a Milwaukee Brewers game. The foundation also honored moms at two additional area hospitals, MLK Heritage Health Center and Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center.

In surprising Milwaukee’s first responder moms, we hope to honor the sacrifices that these mothers have had to make during the course of the pandemic and celebrate the resilience of mothers everywhere.

The Daisie Foundation would like to thank our generous sponsors who helped make this event possible, including Ian’s Pizza, Meijer, Milwaukee Brewers, and Shiraleah.
