Leading Ladies Panel Series

CHICAGO
2019 Initiative
The Daisie Foundation 2019 Panel Series, held at Latinicity in February and the Kimpton Gray Hotel in September, was a continuation of the series’ mission to connect aspiring Chicago women with female leaders in the areas of media, tech, business, culinary arts, law, finance, and STEM. Our amazing panel included some awesome women such as Monique Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of Mielle Organics, Teri Arvesu, Vice President of Content for Univision, and Diana Gutierrez, host of WCIU’s morning television show The Jam Chicago, who moderated the panel.
The events began with a networking hour, during which attendees were able to personally connect with the featured panelists and other leading ladies in Chicago. In the panel discussion that followed, the speakers shared the unique insights and behind-the-scenes knowledge they have each acquired over years of experience in their respective fields, providing our eager participants with valuable tools to learn and take with them in their own pursuits. While they received the gift of the panelists’ wisdom, our participants also gave back by donating dresses for the Daisie Foundation’s annual Mother’s Day Makeover, just one of the many ways the Leading Ladies Panel Series helped to uplift hundreds of deserving mothers in Chicago and Milwaukee during the course of the last year.
The Daisie Foundation would like to thank Latinicity and the Kimpton Gray Hotel for serving as our hosting sponsors for the February and September panel series events.
