Holiday Magic Outreach
Montessori School of EnglewoodEVENT SUMMARY
To launch our Holiday Outreach program, we partnered with the Montessori School of Englewood to surprise 300 children, ages 3-12, with random acts of kindness. This included holiday gifts of games, books, art supplies, science kits, and healthy kefir refreshments from our presenting sponsor, Lifeway Kefir. Faculty and staff were also invited to enjoy a special holiday luncheon, complete with frozen treats and small holiday gifts. Since the goal of this unique school is to create self-reliant individuals through education, family, and community, they were a perfect partner for our first holiday program.

Located in the West Englewood community, this free public school provides education to students in Pre-K through 4th Grade, with the goal of adding a new grade level each year to eventually serve up to 8th Grade. Since the school opened in 2012, admissions have been determined by lottery with a focus on maintaining a diverse curriculum and small class sizes.
