Amazing mothers will receive lunch and special gifts
The Daisie Foundation (DF) exists to empower women and children in underserved communities. Since its founding in 2016, DF has dedicated their time to Houston, Chicago, and Milwaukee neighborhoods that need support, guidance, and love to get through each and every day. This Mother’s Day, as part of the Foundation’s Random Acts of Kindness Initiative, DF is partnering with Raising Cane’s on Friday, May 12th, 2023 to honor and surprise 300 deserving first responder mothers of Harris Health Systems, as well as mothers of Santa Maria Hostel.
Daisie Foundation is proud to celebrate those who put others’ needs before their own. In addition to Raising Cane’s providing lunch for the moms, the incredible moms will receive special gifts from Benefit Cosmetics, Shiraleah, and Reliant just in time for Mother’s Day.
The surprises will take place at three different locations, including Harris Health Acres Homes, Harris Health Casa De Amigos, and Santa Maria Hostel (see schedule below).
In addition to Houston, DF has surprised mothers throughout Milwaukee and Chicago this week, for a total of 1000 mothers.
“Staying true to our purpose to spread joy, we aim to make this a special day for first responders and mothers, all of whom make sacrifices for work, their families, and their communities,” says Daisie Foundation Executive Board President Julie Hightower.
