Event Recap
H. W. Longfellow School was honored with a Holiday Magic Experience that brought joy, gratitude, and celebration to more than 800 students and 150 teachers and staff. The entire school community was uplifted by a day filled with unforgettable moments, thoughtful surprises, and the true spirit of the season.
The celebration welcomed students with cheers, high-fives, and dancing from Santa, Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, elves, helpers, and guests. The energy of a holiday-themed dance party carried through the entire experience, setting a festive tone that continued from start to finish. During the program, every student was surprised with multiple gifts, and teachers and staff were also recognized with thoughtful gifts in appreciation of their daily commitment and care.
Special guests included Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Sheriff Denita Ball, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, and the Milwaukee Brewers Racing Sausages, all joining in to celebrate, connect, and show their support for the school community. Their presence added excitement and made the experience even more meaningful for students and staff alike.
Lunch was provided for the entire school, creating a shared moment of celebration and connection.
With the support of generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and local leaders, the Holiday Magic Experience at H. W. Longfellow School created lasting memories and reminded every student and educator that they are appreciated, celebrated, and deeply supported.
