Daisie Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Celebration & Toast

Daisie Foundation Celebrates 10 Years of Creating Opportunities of Hope

The Daisie Foundation proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone as Board members, volunteers, ambassadors, partners, sponsors, donors, and friends gathered for the Foundation’s 10th Birthday Toast—an inspiring evening honoring ten years of creating opportunities of hope through compassion, service, and community.

More than marking a milestone, the evening reflected on the journey that has shaped the Daisie Foundation since its founding. Through heartfelt remarks from community leaders and partners, the moving testimony of a Celebrate 10 principal, and reflections on the Foundation’s humble beginnings, guests were invited to celebrate the impact of the past ten years while embracing an inspiring vision for the future—one centered on continuing to create opportunities of hope through compassion, service, and community.

Throughout the evening, community leaders and partners shared heartfelt reflections on what the Daisie Foundation has meant to them, how their partnerships have strengthened their commitment to serving others, and the lasting impact we’ve been able to create together in the communities we proudly serve. Their reflections reinforced the power of collaboration and the extraordinary difference that can be made when organizations, volunteers, and community leaders unite around a shared purpose.

One of the celebration’s most meaningful highlights was the introduction of the Celebrate 10 Initiative, a special campaign commemorating the Daisie Foundation’s 10th Anniversary. Through this initiative, the Foundation is fulfilling ten school wishes across Chicago, Houston, and Milwaukee. Each participating school identifies a meaningful project or need that will create a lasting impact for students, educators, and the entire school community. The Daisie Foundation then works alongside community partners to bring those wishes to life.

During the Birthday Toast, two Chicago principals were surprised with the announcement that their Celebrate 10 School Wishes would be fulfilled, creating an unforgettable celebration of hope, partnership, and possibility. Principal Nikita Horne of Howe School of Excellence also shared the meaningful impact the Daisie Foundation has had on her school community and the difference these partnerships make in the lives of students, educators, and families. Her heartfelt reflections served as a powerful reminder of why the Foundation remains committed to investing in schools and creating opportunities of hope.

Since its founding, the Daisie Foundation has proudly served more than 6,000 mothers, 15,900 children and students, and 33 schools across Chicago, Houston, and Milwaukee while inspiring more than 46,000 Random Acts of Kindness through its outreach experiences and community initiatives.

As the Foundation looks ahead, its commitment remains stronger than ever. Guests were invited to become part of the next chapter through the continued growth of the Celebrate 10 Initiative, the Holiday Magic Experience, financial literacy programming, and future expansion into Indianapolis and St. Louis.

The evening concluded with a birthday toast celebrating the extraordinary people, partnerships, and shared purpose that have helped shape the Daisie Foundation over the past ten years.

As the Daisie Foundation begins its next decade, one thing remains unchanged—our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities of hope through compassion, service, and community. Together, we look forward to building the future by continuing to invest in mothers, children, students, families, schools, and the communities we are honored to serve.
