We reimagined our Holiday Magic Express by shifting from traditional in-school visits to honoring local first responders. In partnership with the Chicago Fire Department, our team surprised firefighters at three firehouses with a morning breakfast delivery and a moment of heartfelt appreciation.
With generous support from Chick-fil-A, breakfast was delivered to Engine 120, Engine 34, and Engine 5. In addition to the warm meal, each firehouse received thoughtful gifts from Shiraleah, Tie Bar, and Lifeway Foods—companies that joined us in recognizing the service, sacrifice, and dedication of Chicago’s first responders.
These surprise visits served as a reminder of the power of gratitude, especially during the holidays. The Holiday Magic Express celebrated the bravery of those who protect our communities daily and created meaningful moments of kindness when they were needed most.
