Little Village AcademyEVENT RECAP
Since 1996, Little Village Academy has helped Mexican and Mexican American children become strong leaders through education. Recognized by the City of Chicago as a “School to Watch,” this elementary program offers Pre-K through 8th grade studies. And as a participant in our 2017 Holiday Outreach program, we were able to surprise 800 of their students, ages 4-14, with over 2400 holiday gifts including toys, books, and various holiday treats. A special luncheon was also provided for faculty & staff as our way of saying thanks.

Little Village Academy
Little Village Academy is a Chicago Public School located on the southwest side of Chicago. It serves a student base that is 99% Latino, and nearly all students qualify for a free or reduced lunch. One of their greatest achievements has been their social-emotional program, which helps students overcome both academic and personal struggles. However, the school has also been recognized for their unique Aztec architecture, winning the 2002 Institute Honor Award for Architecture by the American Institute of Architects.
