Event Recap
Young Elementary School was honored with a Holiday Magic Experience that brought joy, gratitude, and celebration to 500 students and 80 teachers and staff. The day was filled with meaningful moments, festive surprises, and a spirit of unity that captured the heart of the holiday season.
The experience featured a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, elves, and special helpers, all joining together to surprise students and bring excitement throughout the school. Students received multiple gifts and were treated to a holiday-themed dance party that added energy, movement, and fun to the day. A pizza party was provided for all students, offering a festive meal that added to the joy of the celebration.
The event was co-emceed by KHOU Evening Anchors Mia Gradney and Len Cannon, whose presence brought warmth and enthusiasm to the celebration. Special guest and Grammy-nominated rapper Paul Wall joined the celebration, helping to create unforgettable moments and inspire the students in a powerful way. The Houston Texans Cheerleaders and beloved mascot Toro also joined the experience, adding excitement and hometown spirit that made the day even more memorable.
Teachers and staff were honored with thoughtful gifts and a special catered luncheon to recognize their dedication and daily impact within the school community.
With the support of generous sponsors, volunteers, and the Greater Houston Police Activities League and Houston Police Department, the Holiday Magic Experience at Young Elementary left lasting memories and served as a reminder of the joy that’s created when a community comes together to give with love and intention.
