Surprising Three Chicago Schools with Gifts from Santa & Mrs. Claus
Each December, The Daisie Foundation surprises students and faculty at underserved schools for grades Pre-K through 8th with a holiday celebration, gifts, snacks, catered lunch for faculty, and other random acts of kindness. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Daisie Foundation is dedicated to blessing the lives of women and children in underserved communities by helping them seize brighter futures.
Since beginning the Holiday Outreach Initiative in 2017, The Daisie Foundation has served over 2,200 students and over 100 teachers in the Englewood, Lawndale and Little Village communities with over 3,000 gifts. Often considered some of the toughest neighborhoods in Chicago, Daisie provides gifts to children who may otherwise not be receiving this holiday season.
In 2019, the Foundation is increasing its efforts, bringing their annual Holiday Outreach Initiative to three deserving schools in the area.

Prior to this event, on Sunday, December 15, 2019, the Foundation will also host its annual Gift Wrapping Party for volunteers to assist in wrapping presents and preparing for outreach.
