As part of the 2026 Chicago Father’s Day Makeover Experience, the Men on the Move Panel Series brought together accomplished business and community leaders to inspire, encourage, and empower 100 deserving fathers through authentic stories of leadership, perseverance, personal growth, and fatherhood.
Moderated by ABC 7 Chicago Anchor Jasmine Minor, the panel served as a meaningful opportunity for participating fathers to hear firsthand from leaders who have navigated personal and professional challenges while remaining committed to their families, careers, and communities. The discussion highlighted the importance of resilience, integrity, mentorship, and leading with purpose, while reinforcing the vital role fathers play in shaping future generations.
Featured panelists included Sam Reeves, Commercial Banking/Treasury Management Market Manager and Senior Vice President at Old National Bank; Nick Ramos, Owner of Chicago Theater Works and Final Cuts Barber Shop; Marvin Anderson, Manager of Healthcare Services at Molina Healthcare of Illinois; and Marco A. Rodriguez, Senior Vice President of Dulcelandia Candy Stores and Founder of XOL Chicago. Each panelist brought a unique perspective, sharing lessons learned throughout their personal and professional journeys and offering practical encouragement for the fathers in attendance.
Throughout the panel, fathers were reminded that leadership extends far beyond the workplace. Whether at home, in their careers, or within their communities, every decision, example, and act of service has the power to influence and strengthen the lives of others. The panelists emphasized the importance of perseverance through adversity, investing in personal growth, embracing responsibility, and creating opportunities that leave a lasting legacy for children and future generations.
The Men on the Move Panel Series reflected the shared commitment of the Daisie Foundation, the Daisie Project, and Snips of Success to recognize and celebrate fathers while creating meaningful experiences that encourage confidence, connection, and continued growth. The session concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and appreciation as fathers left inspired not only by the achievements of the panelists, but by the reminder that their own leadership, presence, and influence matter every day.
The Daisie Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to Jasmine Minor, our distinguished panelists, and the many sponsors, partners, and volunteers whose generosity and commitment helped make the 2026 Men on the Move Panel Series a memorable and impactful experience. Together, we celebrated fatherhood, strengthened community, and reaffirmed the importance of investing in the men who help shape stronger families and brighter futures.
