The Daisie Foundation was honored to bring Holiday Magic Express to Kagel Elementary School in Milwaukee, surprising students, teachers, and staff with a school-wide celebration rooted in joy, generosity, and care. This special event was designed to uplift the entire school community and remind every individual that they are seen, valued, and appreciated.
For nine months, the school principal protected the secret of the celebration with incredible intention, ensuring that no one knew what was coming until Holiday Magic Express arrived. That commitment allowed the surprise to unfold with excitement, gratitude, and heartfelt connection throughout the school.
Holiday Magic Express is a classroom-by-classroom celebration that delivers joy directly to students and educators where they are. Each classroom visit was filled with smiles and excitement as gifts were shared and appreciation was expressed. Teachers and staff were recognized during the Holiday Magic Express event and throughout the classroom visits, honoring the important role they play in shaping and supporting students every day.
As part of the celebration, the entire school—including students, teachers, and staff—was surprised with lunch, reinforcing a sense of unity and community. Holiday Magic Express is designed to celebrate everyone together and create an impact that extends far beyond the event itself.
Through the support of dedicated partners and community collaborators, the Daisie Foundation continues to uplift school communities across Milwaukee and beyond, spreading kindness and care during the holiday season.
