On Monday, May 5, 2025, the Daisie Foundation delivered a powerful day of gratitude and surprise to some of Milwaukee’s most selfless women—firefighter moms and the courageous mothers of the Sojourner Family Peace Center.
As part of its annual Mother’s Day Random Acts of Kindness Initiative, the foundation honored moms at three locations across the city, starting at Milwaukee Fire Station 33, followed by Station 2 at Fire Department Headquarters, and ending with a private celebration at the Sojourner Family Peace Center. Fire Chief Aaron Lipski joined in the day’s efforts, standing alongside Daisie to recognize the hardworking women who balance service and motherhood.
With the help of generous partners including Cousins Subs, Wantable, Shiraleah, Meijer, Benefit Cosmetics, and Penske, each stop was filled with heartfelt appreciation, thoughtful gifts, and moments that reminded these moms how much they matter.
This special day was a reflection of the Daisie Foundation’s mission—to honor, uplift, and bring joy to women who give so much of themselves to others.
