In Milwaukee, the Daisie Foundation created impactful outreach moments focused on honoring and celebrating women who embody strength, service, and resilience every day. As part of our 2025 Mother’s Day Week efforts, we recognized extraordinary women across the city through intentional expressions of kindness and support.

We began by honoring the women of the Milwaukee Fire Department, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to public service and their roles as leaders both in the community and at home. Each woman was surprised with special gifts and thoughtful recognition as a small but meaningful gesture of appreciation.

We also partnered with the Sojourner Peace Center, one of Milwaukee’s leading resources for women and families. There, we hosted a heartfelt lunch and celebrated the moms and staff moms with care packages and uplifting gifts—reminding them they are not alone and deeply appreciated.

These experiences weren’t about ceremony—they were about impact. About meeting women where they are with sincerity, respect, and care. Whether it was through a nourishing meal or a moment of affirmation, our focus was on making each woman feel seen and supported.
