As part of our 2025 Mother’s Day Week outreach, the Daisie Foundation extended its impact to Aurora, Illinois – a suburb of Chicagoland. Our team of volunteers and partners celebrated and supported women navigating difficult chapters in their lives.

With the generous support of Meijer, Benefit Cosmetics, and Shiraleah, we curated and delivered wellness-centered care packages to a local women’s shelter. These packages were filled with everyday essentials, beauty products, and thoughtful gifts—all selected to help moms feel uplifted and cared for during Mother’s Day.

From practical toiletries to moments of indulgence, each item was chosen with intention—to meet both basic needs and offer a small reminder of joy, style, and worth. These gifts were not about luxury, but about restoring dignity and honoring resilience.

This outreach reflected the Daisie Foundation’s mission: to serve women with kindness, thoughtfulness, and purpose. Our presence in Aurora was part of a broader effort to create meaningful moments across multiple cities—quiet gestures that remind women they are seen, remembered, and deserving of care.
