In Chicago, the Daisie Foundation proudly hosted its annual Mother’s Day Makeover Experience in continued partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority, marking our fifth year of celebrating and uplifting moms across the city. This unforgettable experience honored 200 deserving women with a day of beauty, recognition, and meaningful connection.
Held at Venue West, each mom received a full day of pampering—complete with professional hair styling, makeup, brand-new looks, and professional headshots. The space was filled with joy, laughter, and sisterhood, as guests were reminded that they are seen, celebrated, and deeply valued.
The event featured our Leading Ladies Panel Series, a powerful and engaging conversation moderated by Evrod Cassimy, News Anchor at NBC 5 Chicago. The panel included an inspiring lineup of women leaders across industries:
