In 2017, we launched our Mother’s Day Initiative, featuring both a Leading Ladies Luncheon and our Mother’s Day Makeover Event.
During this first year, we were able to provide over 150 Chicago mothers and cancer survivors with transformational makeovers including eyebrow shaping, hair styling, manicures, full makeup and professional headshots.
It began with our fundraising efforts through our first Leading Ladies Luncheon, a special event held before the Kentucky Derby complete with large hats, bright colors, and fresh takes on spring fashion.
