Surprise Holiday Magic Express for Deserving Chicago Students

Holiday Magic Event to Surprise 400 Students in Chicago’s North Lawndale Community

The Daisie Foundation (DF) exists to empower women and children in communities with socio-economic challenges. Since its founding in 2016, DF has dedicated their time to Chicago, Milwaukee, and Houston neighborhoods that need support, guidance, and ultimately love to get through each and every day. This holiday season, DF is hosting a special Holiday Magic Pop Up at Lawndale Community Academy in Chicago on December 9th, 2025. This surprise” event, sponsored by Meijer, is designed to be a day to remember, filled with joy and generosity. Students, teachers, and staff will receive gifts, and there will be a special luncheon for the teachers and staff. Each classroom will be visited by Santa Claus and Santa’s elves and treated to many other delightful surprises. Since Holiday Magic’s inception, DF has been able to surprise over 15,00 students in 33 schools across Chicago, Houston, and Milwaukee.

Here’s what Principal Benetrice Whitfield of McNair Elementary had to say about DF’s Holiday impact: “Your commitment to giving back to the community exemplifies the spirit of the season, and your thoughtful contributions remind our students and staff that they are valued and supported. It is through partnerships like yours that we can continue to create a positive and nurturing environment for our children to learn, grow, and thrive. As they opened their gifts, their faces lit up with excitement. This was a very heartfelt experience for all of us. For some of our families, these may be the only presents they will receive.”

Sponsors for this year’s event include: Meijer, Benefit Cosmetics, Shiraleah, Penske, Gwen Hotel, Daisie Project, Banana Republic Factory, Domino’s Pizza, Universal Carpet Inc. and Campbell’s.
