Bringing Holiday Magic to Life for Deserving Chicago Students

Holiday Magic Event to Surprise 500 Students in Chicago’s Roseland Community

The Daisie Foundation (DF) exists to empower women and children in communities with socio-economic challenges. Since its founding in 2016, DF has dedicated their time to Chicago, Milwaukee, and Houston neighborhoods that need support, guidance, and ultimately love to get through each and every day. This holiday season, DF is partnering with Molina Healthcare, Old National Bank, ComEd, Meijer, and a host of other sponsors to carry out their 9th annual Holiday Magic Experience at George Leland Elementary in Chicago on
December 10th, 2025
. The event will consist of surprising 500 deserving southside students and 100 teachers and staffers with a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, gift giving with help from the elves, and a holiday-themed dance party! Panera will be surprising the entire school with lunch. Since Holiday Magic’s inception, DF has been able to surprise over 15,000 students in 33 schools across Chicago, Houston, and Milwaukee.

Here’s what Principal Kimbreana Taylor-Langston Hughes Elementary School had to say about last year’s event: “After scholars opened their first present, they didn’t realize the gifts would just keep on coming. The emotions of our students from the smiles, screams, cheers and more cheers, it was unforgettable. In addition, to see the staff receive gifts and be included warmed my heart even more. Your contribution directly impacted both students and staff as your generosity showed us the power of kindness and community.”

Sponsors for this year’s event include: Molina Healthcare, Old National Bank, ComEd, Meijer, Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, Benefit Cosmetics, Shiraleah, Penske, Panera Bread, Frito Lay, Raising Cane’s, Banana Republic Factory, Gwen Hotel, Pepsi, Nabisco, Daisie Project, Campbell’s, Wantable, Serve U Success, Universal Carpet Inc., and Reyes Coca Cola Bottling Company.
