“Keeping true to our purpose to spread joy, we aim to make this a special day for first responders and mothers, all of whom make sacrifices for work, families and their communities,” said Daisie Foundation board member Julie Hightower. As a national organization established in 2017 to empower women and children in under-resourced communities, we are proud to support Greater Houston; adding to the 15,000+ random acts of kindness our foundation has provided since its inception.

Through the generous donations of our partners – Raising Cane’s Houston, McDonalds-Bentham Organization, McDonalds-Smith Organization and Benefits Cosmetics – mothers and first responders will be surprised with free, catered meals and mystery gift bags delivered by Daisie volunteers . Proper social distancing and mask guidelines will be followed. Guaranteed to bring a smile, laughter, and maybe a tear from mothers and first responders who deserve, but often do not expect special recognition through a simple act of kindness, the Daisie Foundation and its partners promise a funfilled, meaningful give-back day to honor Mother’s Day.
