Former NFL Player, TV Anchors Walk in Charity Fashion Show

Leading Fashion Runway Show Supports Daisie Foundation at the Kimpton Gray, Oct. 6

Local Chicago celebrities, entrepreneurs and leading business men and women will walk in the Leading Fashion Runaway Show, Oct. 6, to support local nonprofit the Daisie Foundation’s holiday programming and gifts for local students in need on the
southside of Chicago.

The event is sponsored by the Kimpton Gray Hotel and emceed by WCIU Host Diana Gutierrez and ABC Reporter Jesse Kirsch. The robust list of models includes former Chicago Bears Player Johnny Knox, Univision’s David Palomino, NBC and Telemundo reporter Sandra Torres, WCIU’s Brandon Pope, and TV personality Lauren Scott showing off the latest trends from Tie Bar, Banana Republic, and many others.

For the 2019 Holiday Outreach program, Daisie Foundation will partner with three Chicagoland schools in the Humboldt Park, Austin, and Englewood communities to provide the students, pre-K to 8th grade, with a holiday party including toys, books, games and holiday treats. In addition to the celebrations, the initiative also includes a surprise catered lunch for the students and the entire staff.
