Attend Our Leading Ladies Panel by Donating a Dress for Working Mothers

At the Daisie Foundation, we are building a movement of women supporting women through our various initiatives, ranging from our Leading Ladies Luncheon and Mother’s Day Makeover events to our latest addition: our 2019 Leading Ladies Panel. Gain insights and wisdom from successful female leaders for the price of a donated dress when you attend the first of our panels on February 20, 2019 at the Dana Hotel in Chicago.

The event starts at 6pm and will feature successful female entrepreneurs, leaders, and change agents from the fields of business, education, healthcare, and community. To attend, simply bring a brand new dress in your size, which we will then match, to better serve single mothers, cancer survivors and military veterans during our Mother’s Day Makeover Events in May 2019.

Over the past two years, we have served over 420 mothers with transformational makeovers, including full hair and makeup, a new wardrobe with accessories, and professional headshots. We’re doubling these efforts in 2019 to serve 500 mothers across Chicago and Milwaukee. Your donation will ensure that these women receive brand new clothing, as opposed to gently used. In exchange, you’ll gain access to our conversations related to the female experience as a whole, overcoming adversity, and personal growth by giving back.

Past speakers for our events have included Kendra Chaplin, Founder of Chicago Woman Magazine, Diana Palomar, VP of Community Affairs for ABC 7 Chicago, Lillian Lazu, Principal of Little Village Academy, Dr. Jessica Shepherd, Founder of Her Viewpoint, Dr. Nita Landry, Co-Host of The Doctors, Dana Levy, Founder of Dermaflash, Michelle Relerford, Weekend Anchor for NBC 5 Chicago, Katy Lynch, Co-founder of Codeverse, Jeannine Turner, MD, Cardiologist, and Bela Gandhi, Founder of Smart Dating Academy.

We hope that you will join us on February 20, 2019, then further share our message of hope and renewal to other women in your community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Daisie Foundation is dedicating to serving women and children at various crossroads throughout their lives. This is an opportunity to join this mission as we grow. Please help us better serve 500 women in 2019, and 1,000 mothers in 2020. Because together we can make a better day, a better life!
