The Daisie Foundation and A Better Day With Julie Host Holiday Outreach Initiative
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – CHICAGO, IL – With the holidays right around the corner, The Daisie Foundation and A Better Day with Julie are back with their annual Holiday Outreach initiative, to be held on December 19, 2017 at a deserving school in the Little Village/Lawndale Community. Over 800 students, Pre-K through 8th grade, will be surprised with a proper holiday celebration including a DJ, science demonstration, magic show, and visit from Santa – complete with a truckload of beautifully wrapped presents just begging to be opened.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, students can expect to receive winter accessories, exciting toys, and inspiring books, as well as plenty of surprise snacks and treats. And we haven’t forgotten the school’s hardworking faculty and staff, who will be surprised with a holiday luncheon and a few special gifts, just to show our gratitude for their efforts this year. All this and more will be taking place on December 19th, with a preparatory gift wrapping party hosted by Row 24 on the evening of December 17th.
